This project was an original concept for Seal Cove Villas, a proposed low-income housing development in Prince Rupert. When the identity no longer felt suited to that purpose, it was reimagined as a floating vacation villa company, pairing modern luxury with the raw character of the harbour. The brand system emphasizes clean design, coastal tones, and organic forms to reflect both the calm of the ocean and the authenticity of its namesake seals.
The Seal Cove Villas logo was originally designed for a housing project, but its form proved better suited for a floating vacation villa brand. Inspired by the seals that inhabit Prince Rupert Harbour, the mark connects directly to the Cove’s identity. A deep blue palette conveys both ocean luxury and the quiet beauty of Prince Rupert, while the Playfair typeface reinforces a sense of trust and timeless sophistication.
The logo was designed for flexibility, staying clear and recognizable across photography, signage, and digital campaigns. Its minimal seal illustration does more than brand the villas — it tells a story, tying the identity to its namesake cove and reinforcing the balance of luxury and nature.
